Room size and ceiling height are important issues when selecting your ceiling fan. Be sure to choose a ceiling fan that best suits your home:
Low Ceilings:
Install a flush ceiling fan (hugger) or ceiling fans without a down rod in rooms with low ceilings.
Standard Ceilings:
Install a ceiling fan with or without a down rod in rooms with standard ceilings. Dual mount ceiling fans can be installed with or without the accompanying rod.
High & Sloped Ceilings:
Install ceiling fans with extension down rods in rooms with high and sloped ceilings

Selecting the right size ceiling fan
Maximize air flow by installing an appropriately sized ceiling fan for your room:
For rooms up to 12 sq m use 30"-36" ceiling fans
For rooms up to 15 sq m use 42" ceiling fans
For rooms up to 20 sq m use 44"-48" ceiling fans
For rooms up to 25-30 sq m use 52" ceiling fans
For rooms bigger than 30 sq m the use of more than one ceiling fan is recommended
