This is largely due to the widespread damp and mould crisis that has been extensively reported in the national news. They have also seen that many of the dMEV units on the market are old and over-complicated and therefore over-priced. QURO-LC is a low-profile, quiet-running, powerful ventilation unit with multiple speed settings, designed to meet the requirements of all wet rooms in a property, including kitchens, bathrooms, utilities, en-suites, and WCs.
With its low-watt DC motor, QURO-LC provides reduced energy consumption and increased efficiency and performance.
The fan has been aerodynamically designed with back pressure detection to ensure that the fan is able meet airflow requirements in a variety of applications with several different speed options.
An automatic intelligent timer mode is included on both models, which automatically varies the overrun period depending upon how long the fan has been in operation. The QRHT-LC also includes an automatic intelligent relative humidity sensor that enables the fan to vary its speed depending upon the humidity level that has been measured.
QURO-LC incorporates integral controls via a display on the side of the unit. This display offers the user the ability to control the unit, including the fan speed, timer, humidity (model depending) and installation type between through-wall or ducted. The innovative display is also able to show the period of time the fan has been in operation, the current humidity level, if applicable and any potential errors identified.
The unit has multiple selectable trickle speeds from 5l/s to 19l/s with a factory setting of 8l/s. This allows the fan to be commissioned for a range of scenarios depending upon the needs of the property. It also offers selectable boost speeds between 20 and 28l/s, which can be controlled using the side display. These are factory set at 25l/s and are based upon two installation configurations. The maximum airflow of the QURO-LC in free air is 30l/s.
QURO-LC has been designed to be low maintenance with no filter requirement. The fan cover is simple to remove and should be wiped with a clean cloth to remove any dust or build-up.
