Overview

The Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon PureAir Cleanse is designed to deliver increased whole-house ventilation without increasing noise levels, making it ideal for modern, airtight homes. Engineered to comply with Approved Document F (2021), it achieves higher whole dwelling ventilation rates while maintaining exceptionally quiet operation.

Equipped with advanced air quality sensing, the PureAir Cleanse continuously monitors total volatile organic compounds (VOCs) commonly found indoors. When poor air quality or unpleasant odours are detected, the fan automatically activates a proportional boost, increasing extraction to rapidly clear pollutants and restore healthy indoor air.

Integral fan logic reduces nuisance tripping, while models with humidity sensing gradually increase airflow up to 85% RH before activating full boost. This ensures effective moisture control without unnecessary noise or energy use.

A silent mixed flow impeller allows the fan to meet the requirements of many domestic installations without the need for a traditional centrifugal fan. Fully adjustable airflow settings enable installers to achieve whole-house ventilation targets using fewer fans, saving time and cost.

For added comfort, the patented Comfort Control option includes a delayed boost function of up to 20 minutes, allowing peaceful bathroom use before boost engages. A smart light-switch override also prevents boost activation during brief night-time use.

With an IPX5 rating, the Lo-Carbon PureAir Cleanse is suitable for installation in Zones 1, 2 and 3, offering maximum flexibility. Optional back pressure detection automatically boosts performance during temporary pressure increases caused by external wind conditions.

Independently tested sound levels as low as 7.4 dB(A) make this fan one of the quietest continuous extract solutions available delivering powerful, regulation-compliant ventilation with near-silent operation.
