Traditional dual-module SPDs have long been effective but occupy precious board real estate, a limitation in today’s increasingly complex installations. BG’s integrated single module SPD solves that challenge by condensing full surge protection capability into a single compact device.

Fully compliant with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), the new SPD design provides robust overvoltage protection where it’s required most, while maximising available circuit capacity, a win for both installers and clients seeking future-proofed installations.

Unlike earlier single-module designs that still required a 32A MCB (and therefore two ways in practice), BG’s innovation integrates all necessary protection into a true one-module footprint, a subtle but significant breakthrough.

• CUCRBDPA – B Curve Compact Bi-Directional RCBOs

Both B and C curve RCBOs are available in 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 32A, and 40A ratings, with a 25A option included in the Bi-Directional range.
